Mark Twain once said, “Hawaii is the place of happy contentment,” and we are in total agreement with that assessment. When travel takes us out of California, more often than not we’re headed to one of the Hawaiian Islands — Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, Kauai, Lanai or Molokai. Here are some of our Island friends:

Puamana Map – We enjoyed our stay at Puamana so much that we practically had to *force* ourselves to leave the condo and see the sites on Maui. The resort’s location is wonderful!
A highlight of another Maui trip — this one on “my bosses’ dime” that afforded a stay at the luxurious Fairmont Kea Lani — was a Maui helicopter tour from the good folks at Air Maui.
We also had BIG FUN at this Maui comedy and magic show — be sure to book in advance because it’s very popular!
And, on yet another Maui trip — this one just a stop on a Hawaiian Islands cruise — we enjoyed a day trip to Lanai and marveled at its distinct personality.
During whale watching season, one of the best ocean activities to do is a whale watching tour on Maui.
