This online, interactive travel guide was borne of its founders’ frustration in attempting online research for travels throughout their state. Having lived in Southern California, the Central Valley and now in Silicon Valley, they’ve created this resource with a deep appreciation of California’s wonders and of the Internet’s usefulness in discovering them.

Unlike mind-numbing directory listings with just addresses, phone numbers and (sometimes) a link to a website, the California Tourist Guide assembles articles, maps, links and listings that are information-rich and comprehensive.
