Since 1974, American River Raft Rentals Inc. has become the largest and most experienced rafting company in California offering self-guided raft trips on the lower American River. This class II river flows through the scenic American River Parkway. Given the parkway’s natural beauty, you would never guess you were just a few miles east of downtown Sacramento!
We offer plenty of on-site parking for our customers. Weekend and Holiday parking is $3.00 per vehicle, otherwise parking is free. Leave your car and relax on the river, then take advantage of our convenient shuttle bus service back to your vehicle. (Please see our website for information about our shuttle service or our catered rafting trips which can be configured to include shuttle service.) Because of our excellent riverside location and two-acre park, American River Raft Rentals Inc. is able to organize rafting trips for groups of any size. Our oak-studded park offers picnic tables, running water and restrooms, all available for our customers. Should you forget something or come on the spur of the moment, we sell sodas, snacks, sandwiches, suntan lotion, beer, ice and other miscellaneous items for your summertime enjoyment at our River Store
