Description
Located at 7000 feet along Highway 4 in the Sierra Nevada, BaseCamp offers comfortable, convenient and economical lodging in Bear Valley, California. A European-style lodge with bathrooms, showers and sauna shared on each floor, we offer two different styles of accommodations: private rooms and bunk rooms. Each style of room is clean, simple, comfortable and shares bathrooms and showers on each floor.
Private rooms come with down comforters and can sleep between 2-4 guests. Room configurations consist of 1-Queen, 1-Queen & 1-Double, or 1-Queen & 2-Singles. Room assignments are determined on group size, length of stay and availability.
Bunk rooms sleep four to six comfortably. Many groups, especially families, find the bunk rooms convenient and cost effective. The two bottom bunks convert into queen size bunks to expand the sleeping arrangement options.
There are no televisions and telephones in any of the rooms. A house phone and computer with internet access can be used by all guests on the 1st floor. Free wireless internet is available throughout the building. Pets are welcome to stay at BaseCamp; please see our website for details.
The BaseCamp Restaurant & Pub serves delicious meals in a relaxing atmosphere. We use many organic items and non-hydrogenated oils, and we serve ecologically harvested fish. Vegetarian meals are a house specialty. Our diverse menu satisfies your group with healthy, tasty and price-friendly items. Pub Happy Hour 4-5pm daily!
