Description
Armstrong’s Fish Market and Seafood Restaurant is located on the bay in the quaint seaside town of Avalon on beautiful Santa Catalina Island, California.
Armstrong’s opened its doors on June 12, 1983, on the former terminal site of the historic “Great White Steamer” the SS Catalina that ferried passengers to and from the island from 1924 to 1975.
For 20 years, hosts Russ and Jenny Armstrong and General Manager Michael Schumann have been dedicated to offering their valued customers the freshest, highest quality seafood available to either dine in or take home and prepare. Swordfish, lobster, sanddabs, white seabass and other fish are brought in fresh during their season by local boats and much of the seafood is simply and perfectly grilled over sizzling hot mesquite charcoal to sear in the flavor. Armstrong’s also offers tender steaks and chicken prepared on the mesquite broiler.
